Easter Recap

So I know most everyone did their Easter Recaps yesterday but lets be real yesterdays post was a little heavy and I figured today is a good day for a nice light post. Right? So lets get to it…
Easter was givien the cirumstances all around good. Mom made a delicious dinner of Ham, Leg of Lamb, Sweet Potatoes, and broccoli. It was yummy!
We had a nice low key Easter which was nice to seeing how the few days leading up to Easter were slightly hectic. I was helping mom in the kitchen making the sweet potatoes when I asked her if she had any mini marshmallows for the top of the sweet potatoes. She said no. WHAAAAAT?!?!?! So Nikki had to improvise. What did she use? Only the best Easter candy in the world PEEPS! Alas I give you Easter Sweet Potatoes!

I have to say all things considering they came out delish! I would definately do them again next Easter. Maybe a new Easter tradition?
Like I said Easter was low key this year. I went to church in the morning and then took the pups and headed to moms for the afternoon.
Rylie LOVED being outside in the sun all day!

I got to spend some time with my niece and nephew who I have not seen in a long time. They are such monsters!

Like Jersey Girl, mine was pretty non-traditional. I ate with the family, but at the world’s least-fancy restaurant. I had a chicken salad croissant.

I want Peeps sweet potatoes – I just know I would love that.
