How did everyone do this week?

I know my week was successful. Lets break it down shall we? I’m gonna share my workouts with you and just some of the eating I did. I do not want to list out EVERY SINGLE THING I put in my mouth because lets be honest no one really wants to know. But I will highlight the “bad” things I ate so you can see that it is true we all need a cheat here and there. The key is ya have to do it in moderation!
I will start with last Friday and go from there…
I have to say Friday was a good day. Fridays are usually one of my two off days from the Gym. I take 2 because I train hard the other 5 days so I need to let my body rest. On my off days I really make sure that I eat healthy as well but lets be honest I do this everyday.
I got up and went to 2 classes at the gym. I did my love BodyCombat and then I also did a weight class BodyPump. When I got home from the gym I also wound up mowing my lawn which is a work out in and of itself.
Feeling fit and strong and covered in grass after my work out and lawn mowing.
Saturday I wound up making some Avocado Pasta with Balsamic Chicken. It was delish!
I taught BodyCombat and again I took BodyPump. Mom was having family over so I wound up having to really watch myself with what I ate. Although I do have to admit I do tend to be a little more lax with my eating on Sundays and let myself indulge in things. I am not gonna lie I did have some apple pie with frozen yogurt and enjoyed EVER BITE of it!
After work I hit up the gym to do some weight training. I try to get weights in 2-3 times a weeks. I find that I like to take Pump 2 times and then really push myself with free weights the other day. I went home and made Turkey Kielbasa with veggies
After work I hit up the gym again for some BodyCombat. Straight up cardio day. I came home and made some Onions Peppers and Eggs for dinner. YUM-O! Then I continued to eat 3 DOUBLE STUFFED OREOS. Yeah I had to. It was one of those nights. Its ok though! All things in moderation!
I decided to take as a off day because I had been going so hard all week with my work outs. My body needed to rest. I did not cheat on my eating at all. When I take a rest day from the gym I am super diligent about what I eat. It’s my own thing. I also make it a point to be active in my day. What do I mean by that? I usually take my dogs for a nice walk nothing crazy. I just still like to get up and move.
And here we are today. Today the week starts again. Tonight I get back into my work out mode. Tonight I will not only teach my class but I will also do a good hour of mirror work. Mirror work? Thats when I take time to work on my form for my class and work on new choreography.
Something else I wanted to share today….

I was thinking about what else to post in this and then it hit me.
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LIFT WEIGHTS.
I promise you will not become like dude by lifting weights but what I will promise is you will see amazing things happen to your body by adding in some light weight training.
Weights will tighten your body and make your leaner. Who doesn’t want that? Lean is good! Make sure you are not only doing cardio and please please please for the love of Pete add in some weight training it is only gonna be a benefit to you.
