Larabar Review!

Friends I have a review for you today!
Have you ever heard of Larabar?
If not you should go check them out!
I tend to keep some kind of snack with me all the time in case I get stuck somewhere and hunger strikes.
From now on you bet your behind Larabar will be my snack bar of choice!
Did you know that they are made with between 2 and 9 ingredients and they are all normal things like fruits and nuts!
They all come in right around 200 calories a bar as well.
Crazy perfect awesome if you ask me!
I had always wanted to try them and when I was looking for a new bar to add to my rotation I decided that I would contact them and see if they would send me some for a review.
They hooked me up!
I got home from work one day to find this bad boy in my mailbox!
To say I was excited is an understatement!

I ripped into that bad boy and found this…

Chocolate Chip Brownie 200 calories
OMG YUM! Seriously I thought I was eating a brownie with nuts in it! Who don’t like that? I WILL be getting this one again!

Banana Bread 230 calories
When I first bit into this bar I really thought I was eating a slice of banana bread and I was pleasantly surprised! Usually when something is supposed to taste like banana bread it does not. I would definitely get this one again!

Chocolate Coconut Chip 240 calories
I will be honest because that is my job with this post. I was not that impressed with this bar. I honestly didn’t taste the coconut and for 240 calories I felt slighted. I probably wont be having this particular one again.

Apple Pie 190 calories
I had this one day as a mid afternoon snack before I went to the gym. The flavors were delish! I could taste the apples and the nuts. I would get this one again!

Tropical Fruit Tart 220 calories
I had this the morning of a 5K race I was in. Tasty, tart, flavorful and filling! Perfect pre-run fuel if ya ask me!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip 220 calories
Can we say that this is a peanut butter and chocolate lovers heaven? YES! I personally LOVE the peanut butter and chocolate combination and this one was amazing! Again I would get this again!

I can tell you one thing I will have Larabars in my desk draws, in my purse, and in my house ALL.THE.TIME from now on!

  Hugs, Nikki

    Dear Nikki,
I love Lara Bar but sadly my favorite flavor is no longer made. Poor Cinnamon Roll, cut from the list of flavors. I call Lara Bars desserts since I’m trying to cut out cookies, candy bars, cake, pastries (anything that would normally called dessert.)

I would eat every single one of these. Which means it would no longer be less than 300 calories. Hmmm.

I always try to have something in case the apocalypse hits. I love the Cashew/Date bar…don’t know if they have that in your area. Such a sweet and mild flavour. Best part is, those are the only two ingredients. Enjoy yours!

I’m addicted to Odwalla bars (they don’t spike my blood sugar like most), but I will have to try some Lara bars!
