12 Things…

I saw this over on Celia’s Blog who saw it on Linda’s Blog who saw it on this blog.
Did you follow that?
I LOVED this and wanted to take a minute and reflect on this stuff about myself and then challenge you to do the same.
12 Things You Should Be Able To Say About Yourself…

1. I am following my heart and intuition.
I am a strong believer and advocate for following your heart. It is advice I give all my friends when they have issues. I also make sure to take my own advice and follow my own heart and intuition all the time. So far it has done me well.

2. I am proud of myself.
I can honestly say I am. Yes I have been through hell and back with my divorces and yes that was two tough times in my life but I always held my self together. I have managed to loose weight and keep it off. I have a full time job, and a roof over my house. I have a lot to be proud of and I am.

3. I am making a difference.
I think I am helping a lot of people and that alone is making a difference. I try to encourage people to reach their fitness goals by sharing my story with them. I have just recently had someone tell me that I have been a inspiration to them and that alone made me feel amazing!

4. I am happy and grateful.
I can say that I am happy and grateful. Again I have been through a lot and it has forced me to find a happy place in life and I couldn’t be more grateful for the people who I have in my life.

5. I am growing into the best version of me.
With out a doubt in my mind I am!

6. I am making my time count.
I think I am. I do the best I can with the time I have. I make the most of evert situation I am in and always learn something from situations.

7. I am honest with myself.
This is something that I used to once struggle with. Now however I am brutally honest with myself.

8. I am good to those I care about.
I may even been too good to those who I care about. I tend to go above and beyond what I need to for my loved ones.
9. I know what unconditional love feels like.
Thankfully yes!

10. I have forgiven those who once hurt me.
Yep. There is no poing on holding a grudge. But just because I have forgiven does not mean I have forgotten.
11. I take full accountability for my life.
HECK YEA!

12. I have no regrets.
Not one. Life is to precious to have regrets.
So tell me can you say these things about yourself?

  Hugs, Nikki

    I love the intro 🙂

I didn’t think my post would inspire that many people to want to take a few minutes and evaluate their own life, but I am glad that people are. That makes me smile.

I went back to read your divorce post and holy cow, you’ve been through a lot, but I am so encouraged to hear (read) that you’ve been able to come to terms with those events. I recently got out of a bad relationship that started turning sour in our second year of dating.
But girl, if you can get to where you are in life, not regretting any part of your journey, then I can too!
Thank you for your story 🙂

I love #8 where you are growing into the best version of yourself. Confidence is always going to keep you on the right path. And I like #12 because having regrets means you have not dealt with past issues.
I am following you now and look forward to getting to know about you from your blog.
