Girlfriend and I have been in cahoots to come up with something that we think you will all like.
The holiday season is among us and we all know what that means right?
Lots and lots of food.
With lots and lots of food comes the dreaded weight gain.
Most of us go into this season thinking that we are not going to gain weight but low and behold 9 out of 10 of us somehow mange to pack on 5-10 pounds.
Now typically most people will skate through the next 6 weeks with the mind set that the New Year is coming and that means New Years Resolutions.
Tara and I were emailing back and forth and thought WHY WAIT till New Years to set goals for ourselves?
We are challenging you to set your New Years Goals and Resolutions with us NOW.
Why let the next 6 weeks go by and possibly gain 5-10 pounds and be that much more “behind” on your goals.
Ready for a buzz kill?
Did you know that studies show that most New Year Resolutions fail.
So again we are challenging you to set your goals and resolutions NOW with us.
So while Tara and I were emailing back and forth we decided that we are gonna do guest posts on each others blogs Monday November 19th sharing our own personal New Years NOW Resolutions.
We also thought that it would be awesome if you our amazing “bloggin’ gangsta homies” –Thanks Tara!– joined us!

Wanna know the number 1 rule both Tara and myself follow when we set goals?
IF IT’S WRITTEN DOWN IT’S REAL.
So basically we are challenging you to write it down publish it and share it to make it real and legit.
So lets recap shall we?
Monday November 19th will be “New Years Day” since it will be EXACTLY 6 weeks till January 1st.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Well no dont really smoke it.
It’s a saying my friend.
From November 19th on you will be able to stop by my blog or Taras and link up your post and get the help you need to keep yourself accountable.
Tara and I are both going to be posting our Goals and Resolutions as well and fromt here its GO TIME!
You can bet your bottom dollar that Tara and I will be here to see how thing are going for you.

I will leave you with Tara’s Top 5 Goal Setting Tips to help you get started setting some awesome acheivable goals.
1. When it’s written down it becomes real.
2. Write down short AND long term goals but don’t stop there. For each goal you have you MUST write a few action items (or process goals) in order to help action your goals and keep you on track.
3. Write your goals in PRESENT tense. I AM as opposed to I WANT.
4. Stick with the positives as opposed to the negatives. Remember you bring about what you think about.
5. Share them! Your friends and family want to know. Maybe they can help you. Dont be shy!
