This One Time At Starbucks…

 HEY FRIENDS!
This week while I am doing this on this EXACT ship…
I asked some friends to help me out and guest post for me.
Today Kenya from Life With Giggles is here to kick things off!

So, Nikki asked for guest posters and I eagerly raised my hand like that annoying kid in grade school who knew ALL the answers. Then it hit me, I had to actually write the post.
And here we are the day of the deadline that she needs her post and I have just started writing the post after having a few days. Naturally, I had no idea what to write about. So I packed up my stuff and came to Starbucks. I should come here for blogging inspiration more often because you guys are in for a treat today!
So, when I first come into Starbucks, I grab my vente hot chocolate and head over to a table. There are a group of girls in a table nearby that are chatting up a storm, like they won’t stop talking for a millisecond .. and this is what I hear:
Girl 1: “You are so mean. They are just kids”
Girl 2: “They are so retarded and dumb and don’t know shit. It’s super annoying to be around them”
Girl 1: “They ARE IN 1ST GRADE… they are learning!!!” (clearly this girl is appalled by her words of these 1st graders)
Girl 2: “I don’t care, they are stupid and drive me crazy”
Girl 3: (who has been eye rolling the whole time in the corner) “Then why on earth did you become a 1st grade teacher?!?!? [cue bitch face]”
I KID YOU NOT, I ALMOST SPIT OUT MY DRINK WHEN I HEARD GIRL 3 SAY THAT…
I think my fellow coffee neighbor even giggled a bit under her breath too.
And that is our future right there. For any of you who have kids, maybe you want to interview their 1st grade teacher to make sure they have your child’s interest at heart, because clearly there are people in this world that work hard to become a teacher just to later say how much they hate small children who are dumb.
You see, this is the beauty of my life… there are always giggles no matter where I am!!!
Oh yeah, and my name is Kenya. I failed to introduce myself in the first paragraph of this post. If you made it down here, then congrats and I hope you forgive me. I like to call myself Nikki’s long lost internet bestie who know bugs the heck out of her and even texts her when I am pooping. Yep, I’m THAT friend. Nikki loves it so don’t listen to any lies she may say about me. They are not true!! Come and visit me over at Life with Giggles!!!!
I’m really cool though.. really, just ask Nikiki.

UGH that’s so horrible! That’s why kids are dumb, they have bad teachers.

My sister is 5th grade teacher and loves her job.

Great guest post, dying laughing over here!

    xoxo

I do not like being around kids – therefore I am NOT a teacher!

awesome. My daughter is in 1st grade. Her current teacher was a 3rd grade teacher for a few years and this is her first year in 1st. I would have spoken up to that twit. LOL. She would have rethought her whole career after me!
