We All Fall Off The Wagon…

I have a confession to make today friends.
Y’all know I am big into health and fitness and I am a fiend when it comes to working out right? Well I will be honest. The last week I have felt like I have been off. I mean don’t get me wrong I have been working out I just feel like I have not been working out the way I should be or at least up to my standards.
I don’t want to say that I have been a failure but I feel like I have hit a set back.
I feel like I need to re-commit myself to my work out routine and get my shit together again.

Last night Lobster and I were eating dinner and we got to talking and I had said that I feel off. I feel like I am not happy with where I am physically. I feel like I have let myself go this week. Lobster looked at me like I had 6 heads but he also knows how I am.

I know it takes discipline. I am not a stranger to that and I am not afraid to be disciplined at all.

I need to sit down and re-evaluate my goals.

I need to find my self respect and get my priorities in order again.

I know the decisions I need to make and I am going to make them.
I want to get back to my routine that I found works best for me.
That routine is…

Sunday: Hot Yoga
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: Combat
Wednesday: Combat
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Pump & Combat
Saturday: Pump & Combat

I find that routine works best for me and helps me run and feel my best.

We all fall off the wagon from time to time and this is me admiting that I have fallen off the wagon and ya know what?
That’s okay!

Today is February 1 and ya know what there is no better day than today to get myself back on track.

Who’s with me?

  Hugs, Nikki

I only gave myself one rest day a week when I was working out hardcore. I think it takes a lot of control to go only 5 days a week if you love working out. Kudos!

I feel you, i’ve had a set back the past 2 weeks or so. sick so not as much time for working out and then travleing so not as much time for eating healthy.

I feel yucky, but i’m powering through the work outs this week.

    good luck, you got it!

    You’re seriously awesome!!
I totally do not know what it is like to be an exercise fiend… and for some reason I just can’t get there yet. What’s wrong with me!? (Well I WAS in a car accident so I’m not supposed to be doing anything crazy right now) but I want to get back to where I used to be. 3 kids, 10 years of no exercise… I am ready I think. Now I just need to find the motivation. It’s gotta be somewhere in there!
You can get back my friend!! I know you can 🙂

I really had to push myself this week. This time of year I typically get very lazy ( not depressed – just lazy ) I have been forcing myself to move my ass on some days. I think it’s due to lack of sunlight. We all have off days/weeks. The good thing is that you can recognize when things aren’t right and you do something about it.
