She’s Okay!

Ya know how they –who is “they” anyway?– say that when someone passes away you will know when they are trying to contact you?
Well I totally had that moment on Monday.
Not once.
Twice
Monday I was driving home form work and I was listening to the local country station and all of a sudden Josh Turner “Your Man” came on the radio. I immediately KNEW it was Grams way of telling me she is okay!
Then later that day I was getting in the truck to go to the gym and as soon as I turned on the truck I hear Josh Turner “Would You Go With Me” was on.
Now I’m sure you are wondering why these specific songs remind me of my Gram. Well my mom and I are big country fans and when Gram heard Josh Turner for the first time she fell in love with his voice and asked us to get her his CD. We did of course. She listed to those two songs on repete OVER AND OVER. She loved him. Every time I was with her she would always have them on.
Memories.
Memories are great. They hurt but they are a good hurt. Its times like this I know I will be okay because I know she is okay!

Love You More Gram thanks for letting me know you are okay!

  Hugs, Nikki
