That One Time I Was Rockin’ Out To Luke Bryan

Happy Hump Day Friends!
We have made it to the half way point of the week and I couldn’t be happier!
Yesterday I was driving home minding my own business rocking out to Luke Bryan in the truck when all of a sudden the flow of traffic comes to a complete stop.

Then it hit me.
Ever since that bitch Sandy came threw the draw bridge by my house has been under construction. I think they are just about done with fixing it though because this morning when I left for work both lanes were open both ways.
What typically takes me 20 to 25 minutes to get home took me 50 minutes last night. I was not happy. Lets hope that the construction is in fact done because this whole lets stop the flow of traffic during rush hour really effin blows!
Yesterday Mr. Big Truck and I decided to go for a little hike. It was a nice evening and we figured we would hit up Cheesequake State Park before they start charging us to get in.

{I sent this picture to Celia and she made a comment…
“He’s totally got the bloggy boyfriend gig down!”
I couldn’t help but laugh at that.}

I know that the park was also still recovering from Sandy so I was not sure how well the trails were gonna be but it turned out to be perfect. We wound up doing 2.75 miles when all was said and done and it was so nice.

I don’t know about you guys but sometimes I get so wrapped up in my normal day to day work out routine that when I throw in something different it is such a welcomed change. Plus lets not forget that it is good to switch things up from time to time.

After our hike we picked up some sushi went back to my house ate and watched the Mets loose yet again.

In other news I have a interview today at a gym that is looking for instructors. I am not sure if it is gonna be for Pump or Combat but I am looking forward to it and seeing where it goes.

Fingers crossed!

Question for you…
Have any of you made a blog book outta your blogs?
I want to do something like this but I have not and do not know where to begin. If anyone has any insight that would be greatly appreciated!

Happy Hump Day Friends!

  Hugs, Nikki

Ugh, traffic from Sandy construction is the worst. It’s crazy that it is still going on!

Cheesequake still gets me every time. I’m giggling like a little kid.

I forget where I read it but another blogger prints out all her entries and puts them in binders. She labels them by year or something like that. cool idea if you have the space to store them.

good luck with the interview! Let us know how you make out.
