Happy Tuesday friends!
Hope y’all gad a great Labor Day Weekend. I know I did. I got to spend some time with friends and family and that is always a great time in my book! Saturday we went to my friend Melissas moms house to celebrate her 30th birthday. We got to spend a nice day at the lake on Sunday with family, and yesterday I hung out at home with my friend Siobhan. Overall a nice relaxing weekend.
I finally got my MacBook working correctly again and can not sit and recap my amazing trip to Dallas! I know its only almost a month later. Better late than never right?!?
Back in August I set off on what I thought was just a regular vacation week in Dallas. Little did I know it was going to be a life changing weekend.
First order of business in Dallas was Success School.
It started off rocky and at one point I thought I was going to be stranded at the St. Louis airport but thankfully everything worked out and I got to Dallas. Granted I got there a little later than I was planning but hey sometimes ya just gotta roll with the punches right? I was supposed to land Thursday night at 9 but things didn’t work out that way and I didn’t end up landing till 11:30 which meant that I wouldn’t be able to get my rental car till Friday morning. I wound up getting a hotel near the air port and figured I would deal with everything in the morning. Friday morning I was up and got my car and then found out there were a few people from the team landing that morning so I hung around and waited for them then we set off to AdovCare
First stop was the Arlington Convention Center. We had a meeting with the amazing SciMed board that does all the research and development on our products! This is where I finally meet the beautiful and just so super sweet Danielle
. Top left picture down below. From the convention center we all set out for a team dinner which is where I was just overwhelmed with meeting EVERYONE who I have felt like I have known for years. It was awesome to finally put faces with names. After dinner we set out for Cowboys Stadium and let me just tell you that place is HUGE!
We walked in and I was just taken back with the size of the place. I seriously stopped for a second and was like WOAH!
The days were long at Success School but I will be honest the 3 days I spent at Cowboys Stadium learning more and more about the awesome company I work with was awesome. I got to meet so many inspiring people who want nothing but the best for you and who are willing to just pour into you. Life long friendships were made that weekend. I also came to the conclusion that getting involved and starting a business with AdvoCare
was one of the best decisions of my life. Mark my words friends in the next 2 years I will be telling you that I am quitting my day job and moving out of NJ and that will all be because of AdvoCare
! Not only has AdvoCare
given me a wonderful healthy lifestyle but the time freedom, debt freedom and the freedom its going to give me to move is just amazing!
I got to finally meet my other half Angie! Bottom left picture. Seriously this girl is one of my best friends and finally getting to wrap my arms around her and hug her was awesome. We may or may not have cried when we finally meet. It was funny because when we finally found each other among the mass of people we both screamed and ran for each other. One of the ladies who happened to witness all this stopped us and said that may have been one of the best reunions I have ever seen. Thank you ma’am but yeah that was no reunion that was a first time meeting. There may or may not have even been tears. By may or may not I most definitely mean MAY!
After the amazing weekend I had at Success School I set out to meet my friend Kristi. I used to baby sit for Kristi and it was awesome to see her and her family. Her kids Nathan and Bailey are now 16, and 14 and are HUGE! It is amazing how much they have grown up. We got to spend some time at their place in Southlake and then we also ventured up to Lake Texcoma for a few days.
Nathan is driving. Can we just say mind blowing! Seriously!
Bailey is just full of energy!
Lake Texoma is on the border of Texas and Oklahoma and it is just gorgeous!
Kristi and I also got to meet our other friend Kim for lunch one day. I used to babysit her kids as well.
Overall my time in Dallas was AMAZING! I can not wait to go back next August and every August after that!
