The Middle of September?!?

Hey friends how are you today?
Can we just talk about the fact that it is September 16th already. Seriously it’s the middle of September and I have no clue how that happened.
I have been crazy busy with life lately and sometimes I need to just stop and slow down. I don’t see that happening ANY TIME soon. Why? Well because we are coming into the fall season and that happens to be one of my favorite times of the year. Seriously as much as I love the summer and all it brings to my life I really enjoy the fall too. There is nothing better than throwing a pair of jeans on with a hoodie or a sweater and heading out for the day. This fall I am hoping to get some apple picking, pumpkin pickin and corn mazin’ done. When? That is the million dollar question.
Anyway life has been busy. Mr. Big Truck and I have been busy getting the house ready for October when Momma Butler and crew come to town. I can not wait! It also means that this pretty little lady and her baby girl may be coming too! This is the current state of the hallway…
I can not wait till it is done! We are also in the process of doing the guest room  office, living room, dining room and kitchen. Ya know because it’s a GREAT idea to tackle all the rooms at once right? Multi tasking at its finest!

Anyway how was everyone’s weekend? Ours was busy to say the least. Saturday we were out with Mr. Big Trucks niece all day. Can I just tell you we went ALL over the place. Seriously we went to so many places that I couldn’t even tell you all the places we went. I can tell you a few things that really stuck out to me because I can still remember them.

1. We went to Walmart and while we were looking for a parking spot we witnessed a woman shaving her mans arms. Yes you read that right a woman was shaving her mans arms in the parking lot of Walmart. Now please don’t get me wrong I have noting against helping your man groom himself but do ya have to do it in the Walmart parking lot? I think not.

2. The price of 2 in cartridges for a printer is REDIC! Seriously I needed a black and a color cartridge for my printer and was BLOWN away at the $52 dollar price tag. Thanks but no thanks!

3. I do not like Chinese food. End of story.

We left the house at 8:30am and didn’t walk in the door till 7:15pm. LONG DAY.  And because that was not enough we then worked on the house some in the evening.

Sunday we went to Mr. Big Trucks nephews football game then came home and worked on the house some more and watched the Giants get their behinds handed to them. I also made a turkey meatloaf for dinner. Yum yum!

It is now Monday and that means that it is the start of yet another busy week. Doctor appointments, meetings, work, prep for vendor nights. Fun stuff!

Have a great day friends and don’t forget to smile!

  Hugs, Nikki
