Happy Monday friends!
How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was good!
Friday night we did a whole lotta nothing but run to Best Buy for new life proof cases for our phones and then we ventured to Target to wonder around for a bit.
Saturday morning we helped a fried who was tapping her BodyPump assessment video, hit up Panera for lunch, went to Costco for our last Christmas present we had to buy and then we braved the snow storm to meet up with Kenya, her husband, & Mrs. Networking, for dinner. Can we just talk about the snow we got for a second. So we were supposed to get 2-4 inches which is really NOT a big deal but dang the roads were a mess. What should have normally taken us 25 to 30 minutes max to get to the restraunt took us a solid 45-60! Crazy! However I have to say I had some of the most amazing goat cheese raviolis with vodka sauce. Mmmmmm. Totally worth it.
Sunday I was not feeling 100% so we bummed around the house most of the day. I wound up bitting the bullet and wrapped all the Christmas gifts which I am still waiting for one more thing to come in the mail.
I had a apt for a prenatal massage so I ventured out a little before it to make a few stops on my way down. About an hour before my appointment time I gotta call saying the girl who’s supposed to do it went home sick and I had to reschedule. I wound up finishing the errands I needed to do and went home made dinner and called it a day. Mr. Big Truck thought it was a good day to make zucchini bread -from scratch!- and I have to say it came out really good!
Add baker to his résumé! Yes I am a lucky woman! We also signed up for a free month of Netflix so if you have any movie, TV series, ect recommendation please share!
Here it is now the week before Christmas and I can not believe next Tuesday is Christmas Eve. Crazy! I gotta get through this work week and then I get a nice 5 day break! I have some baking to do this weekend and we want to try to get to the city to see the tree on Saturday night and we are also gonna go see our sister in law sing in a chior thing and we are going to see The Trans Siberian Orchestra next Monday! To say I am excited about the holiday festivities is a bit of an understatement. Let’s hope the weather cooperates on Saturday so we can make it to the city and all will be good!
OH! And let’s not forget the most important and exciting thing we have going on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day…announcing the baby’s gender!
If I don’t make it back between now and Christmas I hope y’all have a great holiday with your families!
