We’ve Gotta Secret!

So friends today I wanted to tell you we’ve gotta secret.
However we are not telling anyone until our family knows. When are we telling our families? Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We thought it would be fun to tell everyone at the same time and that is the next time everyone will be together.
In the mean time I thought it would be fun to go through some old wives tales and let y’all guess boy or girl.
Sweet or Sour: if you are craving sweets it’s believed that you are carrying a girl. Craving salty or sour stuff it’s believed it’s a boy.
Chinese Gender Chart: I used this one on parents.com and it says based on being 30 when I conceived and conceiving in August we should be having a boy.
Ring Test: Tie your ring on a string. If it swings side to side it’s a girl. In a circle it’s a boy.
Evens or Odds: Legend has it the Mayans would take the mothers age at conception and the year of conception and if both were odd it was a girl, if one was even and one was a odd it was a boy.
Skin: Your sink is soft its a girl. Dry skin? It’s a boy.
Face: Breaking out a lot blame it on your little girl. Still gotta clean face you’re gonna have a boy.
Right or Left: If you tend to sleep on your right side its a girl. Left? It’s a boy.
Sick: Fighting morning sickness early on is a sign of a girl. Little to no morning sickness its a boy.
Daddy To Be: Is dad gaining weight too? Legends say it’s a girl. Not gaining it’s a boy.
Moody: If you are moodier than normal its a girl.
I had to ask Mr. Big Truck if he thought I was moody he said he didn’t think I was moodier. Only when I am tired.
So with all that said what do YOU think?
Now off to Pinterest to figure out how we are gonna go about telling our families. I am thinking cupcakes with PINK or BLUE centers and cute little toppers.

  Hugs, Nikki

I don’t believe in any of these. (although the ones I did were correct) but thankfully, I didn’t really have morning sickness and I have two girls 😉

I’m guessing BOY, just from the way you look to be carrying in a recent picture I saw of you.

I tried to convince Jess to do the cupcake reveal thing and she was a pouty-puss and just verbally told everyone. BORING!!!! Do the cupcakes it’ll be awesome 😀

I am hoping you have a girl so I can dress her up in bows and dresses… but if it’s a boy, then I am not buying him clothes but just a shit ton of toys that make me really loud and annoying noises. You’re welcome.
