Friday Catchup

HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS!

We have made it! I know most of you are gearing up for a weekend full of all kinds of fun, I on the other hand have to work tomorrow. I typically do not work on the weekend but Mother Nature has decided to wreak havoc on us recently so now we must pay the price.

 

 

I’m pretty sure you have heard by now that the North East has gotten their fair share of snow and ice recently. I have to say I saw it coming. I mean not for nothing the last few winters have been VERY mild so we were due for a crappy one. Embrace it I say. I know all the teachers are hating it because now they are going to be losing their spring breaks and have to go to school until the end of June but it is what it is. This crappy weather does not only affect teachers. It affects all of us. I know because of this weather I have missed a few days work too and have had to make it up on Saturdays. Is it my ideal way to spend a Saturday? Nope not at all but again we have to deal with it. Heck this Saturday I am going to be missing part of my Mother in Laws birthday party because I have to work.

Because of this weather my poor girls are dealing with a sever case of cabin fever. I can’t say that I blame them either. Poor Rylie is moping around the house sulking because she can’t go out and run around. Zoe is also missing being able to go outside and sunbathe. I feel ya girls!

 

 

In pregnancy news, tomorrow I am 24 weeks pregnant tomorrow already. Where the heck did the time go?!?! Mr. Big Truck and I have started to order the baby’s nursery furniture which is exciting. Mr. Big Truck is gonna get started on painting the nursery too! We decided to go with pink and gray with splashes of green here and there. I am super excited to see it all come together.

 

 

I have also kept up with my workouts while pregnant and I am super excited about this. Not only have I been working out but I have also been able to continue the use of some of my favorite AdvoCare products which I fully credit them to why I have not been sick and have not gained a boat load of weight. Win win situation if you ask me. My doctors are also very happy with where all my levels are and said that I am having a great pregnancy!

And just because I care, I saw a pin on Pinterest for a banana quesidilla and I decided I needed to make it. I used a whole wheat wrap, 1 banana cut up, some almond butter, a few chocolate chips, a few peanut butter chips and some mini marshmallows. Oh my goodness it was so dang good! You must try it. You’re welcome!

I added a poll to the left hand side of the blog friends! Guess #babybigtrucks arrival date. I am due May 31st. My doctor already told me he will not let me go past June 7th. When do you think she will show up? VOTE!

    Poor pups. I have cabin fever too. I want to get some hiking done in the worst way!! The banana quesadilla is genius!!

      Try the banana quesadilla it’s awesome! Oh man how I wish we could get outside and be active! Soon enough! I’ve noticed the days are getting longer again! Yay!!

    So excited for you with welcoming-baby-time nearing! How exciting that you’ve ordered baby furniture! Way to go on keeping up with your workouts – I wasn’t so disciplined during my pregnancies. You’ll be very glad that you are 😉 Hope your weekend work shift passes quickly for ya!

      Thank you! Yes it is an exciting time! We can’t believe I am 24 weeks already today! Crazy! I HAD to keep up with the workouts I went from 2 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week to now only 30 minutes 3 days a week. Better than nothing and yes I am sure I will be happy I kept up with them after she comes!
