Ten Favorite Things

So I recently stumbled upon Brianna’s blog Endlessly Beloved and I have to say it has quickly become a daily read. She has a monthly link up called Ten Favorite Things and this months theme is “That Someone Special” in honor of Valentines Day. I wanted to play along and brag on Mr. Big Truck a bit.

In no particular order here are the top TEN things I love about Mr. Big Truck…

ONE: Constant support. Can I just tell you how supportive Mr. Big Truck is? I am talking about in ALL areas of life to no matter what it is I am going after he is my number one cheerleader in life. Right off the top of my head one thing that sticks out in my mind is when I went through BodyPump certification he was there for me. We had only been seeing each other a short while at this point and after the first day of training I was shot. I called him when I got home to talk. I said I wanted to see him just hang out and relax for the evening and what did he do? He showed up at my doorstep in sweats ready to just chill. It was exactly what I needed that night. His support has never wavered to this day he is ALWAYS there for me no matter what the situation is.

TWO: He is a trooper. What I mean by that is he puts up with my crap and goes along with all my nonsense and lets me put it out there for all of you to enjoy! Like when I leave the toilet paper roll flat-out empty in the bathroom.

THREE: His love for Country Music. It is no secret around here that we both love country music. Heck how many concerts did we go to together last summer? I lost count. So far this years line up includes Luke Bryan in September and I am sure we will be adding more. I know we are both waiting for the Garth tour dates to be released.

FOUR: The trust and love between him and I. There is no doubt a butt load of trust between the two of us and there is no questioning it on either behalf.

FIVE: The way he is himself around me. Goober. Yup that is what I call him. Why? Because it fits him. He is a goober when he lets his walls down and I am lucky enough to get to see that side of him. I love that I am the only one who gets to see that side of him.

SIX: We have the same wants and desires in life. He wants a family. He wants to be a daddy. Notice I said a daddy and not just a father. There is a difference there and I know he know that difference and I can not wait to see him be a daddy.

SEVEN: He is the a man every woman longs for. He is not afraid to go out there and get it done. He takes care of all the “manly” duties like snow removal and maintenance of the trucks. He likes to fix things around the house and is constantly doing odds and ends around the house. But I also have to give him credit because he is not afraid to step up to the plate and help inside the house to. He bakes, he cooks, he does dishes, he does laundry. He may also kill me for sharing all those tidbits of information. LOVE YOU!

EIGHT: His ability to make me laugh. This man is great at getting me to laugh at stupid things. When I try to be mad at him I just can’t be because he will do something and it will inevitably make me crack a smile and laugh.

NINE: His respect. There is no doubt in my mind that he respects me and listens to me. He does not look at me as if I am below him or not his equal which I love. You will never hear either of us put each other down. Now don’t get me wrong we love to joke around and have a good time but we always do it with respect towards each other.

TEN: Our marriage. Hands down our marriage is the single most important thing to him and I love that. It is the single thing that is more important to him than anything. We always put each other first and we have had many discussions about how this will always be the way we are.

Thank you! When I saw this I knew I needed to participate! I do think it is important to think of the person you love and WHY you love him. It’s awesome to make it about your partner and not just yourself.
