Little Miss you are two months.
TWO MONTHS! Ummm what?!?! Where did that time go? Seriously I feel like it flew by. I know every new mom says that but seriously I get it now. Time really does need to slow down.
This month we spent some time up at the lake and you had a great time. We celebrated Daddy’s first Father’s Day and had a “Get to know Little Miss and Mr. Big Truck Party” while we were at the lake.
Mommy and Daddy had been super busy all month getting ready for your Dedication party at Grandma’s house.
You went to the mall with me and my friend Amanda and you had your first experience at Chipotle thanks to Amanda.
We went to some of Daddy’s softball games and while we were there you and I took #usies.
You started to sleep through the night although you somehow manage to pee through your diaper and soil your crib sheet. Hello size 2 diapers!
You went from 4.5 ounces to 6 to 8 ounce in a feeding. Little piggy.
You finally out grew your newborn sized clothing and grew into 0-3 months.
You were still wearing your size 1 diapers during the day. Although that has now stopped!
You burp like your daddy and you poop like it’s no ones business. We always know when you are pushing one out because you make some weird noises when you push and your little face gets so red.
You are still not a big fan of the binky but you will take it from time to time. When you’re in the mood for it that is. Picky little thing that you are.
You are very alert and you will hold your head up very well.
You are still sleeping in your crib and on your belly. We’re rebels in these parts.
You cry like a goat when you really get going and it takes everything for Mommy and Daddy not to laugh. You also have the saddest little pouty face when you’re not happy. Again we try so hard not to laugh.
Mommy calls you Monkey and Daddy tends to call you mush face.
You like to play the “hop hop hop” game when you are grumpy and fussy. Mommy will have calves of steal by the time you grow up!
We still feed you on demand and some times you will go 1.5 hours between feedings sometimes you will for 4 or 5 hours. There is no rhyme or reason to how long you go.
Mommy had Daddy get on the scale one day and then handed you to her and you weighed 10 pounds. WHAT?!?!?! What happened to my little 6 pound peanut? Mind you that was before we went for your 2 month well visit.
You are sleeping in your crib like a boss.
I put your feet in the water at the lake and you were not thrilled with me. You will learn to love it though I promise.
Daddy taught you a bit about fishing and fish while we were up at the lake for Father’s Day. I am not sure who enjoyed it more, you, him or me watching it all go down.
You older sister Rylie takes her job of watching out for you very seriously.
Zoe on the other had could care less.
We went swimming for the first time and you seemed to enjoy yourself!
We celebrated 4th of July.
June 29th Mr. Big Truck and I dedicated you to the Lord. It was an amazing day.
Daddy and I took you for a nice hike at Thompson Park.
I packed up your newborn sized clothes. Sad panda.
We took you for your two month well visit and your official doctor visit stats are: 10 pounds 10 ounces, 50th percentile. 15.1 inch head circumference, 50th percentile, 23 inches long, 75th percentile. You got 2 shots and you were not happy about that. Ya know who was not happy about that either? Daddy. I swear I thought he was going to cry when you got your shots. They measured you 4 times to make sure your length was correct because you grew 3 inches from your last well visit. We are thinking you are going to be one tall girl!
Baby girl you are loved more than you will ever know. We couldn’t be happier to be your parents. Everyday you change a little bit more and although it breaks our heart that you are growing up we are super excited about it.
