Today is the Day…

Well friends today is the day. What day is that you ask? Well, today is the day that Little Miss will take her first air plane ride. I think I have everything we are going to need for our short little trip to Dallas and I am just hoping that Little Miss is a champion on the plane. No doubt in my mind she will be. I scheduled the flight for 6pm, so she should be good to go. Game plan? Well I plan to feed her during take off which SHOULD help with the pressure in her ears. Then I figure she should sleep through that flight. Unfortunately we have to make a stop over in St. Louis before continuing to Dallas but it is what it is. I hope that whoever is seated near us is patient and understanding of traveling with a 2 month old.

The plan is for me to wear Little Miss in our BabyBjorn which she loves while we are going through security and what not. We will check her car seat and we are gonna bring the snap and go stroller. We are only going to be in town for 2 days so I figured we wouldn’t need the Bob. In August when Mom, Little Miss and I go back out to Dallas we will bring her big stroller since we will be there longer. I am hoping that I have enough formula and diapers packed, I know we can always buy some while we are out there but we will not be renting a car so it will be quite the production if that is the case. I can not and will not worry about that. We will cross that bridge if we get to it.

Why are you going to Dallas? Well, we are going to Dallas because Mr. Big Truck and I have earned an all expense paid trip to AdvoCare Corporate for a 2 day training event called No Limits. Mr. Big Truck and I have worked our behinds off to earn this trip and I can not wait to get the training. I know it will help us in our business. I have never before been involved with a company that invests so much into their employees. I LOVE IT! I know the training will be amazing and will help us in ways that I can not even wrap my mind around right now. I can not wait to bring home what I learn and share it with my team and help them!

I just need to brag on AdvoCare for a minute. We learned that we earned this trip back in April. We were invited to the early June training. I was due with Little Miss May 31st. Do ya see where I am going with this? I contacted AdvoCare and told them the issue and what happened? They were MORE THAN WILLING to help us out and rescheduled us to a time that worked for us. How cool?!? This is why I love this company. Well actually that is only one reason why I love this company. And because that is not enough when I told them that I would have just had a baby they offered to let us fly out with my mom and let her stay in the room with us. Truly a family friendly company if ya ask me!

Like I said while we are in Dallas my mom is going to watch the baby. She is planning to take her swimming and who knows what other “trouble” those two will get into. I love that my mom will have the time to spend with Little Miss.

With that I will see ya on the flip side!

  Hugs, Nikki
