That Time Mr. Big Truck Turned 52

Only in real life he really on turned 37.

Friday was Mr. Big Trucks birthday. We kicked off the celebrations last week with cake at my parents house where we only had a 5 and a 2 for candles. Oops! My mom stopped at Costco to get a cake. She wound up getting a HALF SHEET CAKE mind you there were 5 adults at my parents and Little Miss. Little much I know but we do things big around here apparently.

Friday the 22nd, Mr. Big Trucks actual birthday we left Little Miss at home with my mom and went to the Brad Paisley concert. My cousin Rich and his wife Andrea were going to be there as well so we got to spend some time with them which was nice.

Saturday we went to Mr. Big Truck brothers house. Mr. Big Truck, his brother and our nephew all have birthdays in August so we were celebrating our nephews birthday.

Sunday after church Mr. Big Truck, Little Miss and I packed up the girls dropped them off at my mom’s house and hit the road to Ocean City New Jersey for the night. Neither of us have ever been there so we were both really excited to check it out.

We walked the boardwalk for a while and then went to dinner at The Chatterbox. On our walk there we passed this beautiful church with the 10 Commandments posted outside. Something you do not see everyday!

It was a cute little restaurant which has been around for a while. I had a delicious roasted corn and black bean salad with grilled chicken! Yum! We got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful night. After dinner we went back to the boardwalk and walked for a bit.

Monday morning we got up walked the boardwalk a bit and got some breakfast. We hit the road kinda early and stopped at Tackle Direct on our way home. It was the perfect ending to a great weekend celebrating Mr. Big Truck!

  Hugs, Nikki
