Little Miss you are four months old! I really wish time would slow down. The past month has brought more firsts for us all to experience together and Daddy and I love watching you grow.
Your most recent growth stats as of August 18th, 2014 were 14 pounds 8 ounces. 24.5 inches long and 16 inch head. You are in the 75th percentile for your height and weight and progressing normally!
This month took us back to Dallas for AdvoCare National Success School. This time however Daddy stayed home while you, Gramma and I flew out. Gramma came with us to watch you while I went to my meetings.
While we were out there we got your ears pierced. You were a little trooper about it. You cried for a little bit but not any more than how you cry when you get your shots at the doctor.
You also got to ride a bull. Well, you got to sit on one for that matter.
You are still sleeping through the night like a beast! You go down anywhere between 7 and 8pm and you sleep till 6:30-7am. However you are just a little cat napper during the day. You tend to nap most of the time in your swing. I do not complain about it at all though because I love that you are sleeping all night!
You love sitting in your high chair while Momma and Daddy eat dinner and you love to play in your bumbo like chair. You will play on your activity mat as well but it is not your favorite. You like to sit up and know what is going on around you. Aint no one got time for laying around.
We started wearing our 3-6 month clothes and we are still in a size 3 diaper.
We picked you up your big girl car seat. You still fit in your infant car seat carrier but you are not a big fan of it. We got you the Graco 4ever car seat.
August is filled with lots of birthdays so we celebrated Daddy’s birthday down in Ocean City Nj.
We also went to the lake to celebrate Grandmas birthday. While we were there you went on your first boat ride.
You were not thrilled with the life jacket but once we got going you were fine. You laid down on mommas lap and napped until we got to the restaurant and then you were your happy little self. We also celebrated Uncle Frank and your cousin Ryans birthday. Your Uncle Nick and cousin Nicholas birthday is in August too. So many birthdays!
We spent some time with our friends Dorothy, John and their little boy Connor who is a few weeks younger than you are.
You have daily conversations with Daddy and I just LOVE to listen to you guys go back and forth!
We had family photos taken and I can not wait to get them back! We also had Siobhan take your 3 months photos!
You are getting so so strong! You started to roll from your belly to your back. You did it for the first time on August 29th in the middle of the night. I woke up to you talking to yourself at 3am and I looked at the monitor and you were laying on your back. The next day I laid you on your belly and you did it again! You are also starting to pull your self up to the sitting and standing position with our help.
You went to the beach for the first time and put your toes in the water and sand. You were no phased by it at all!
You need to see what is goin on all the time so you like to be sitting up, however, you will chill out on your back during the day. Momma loves laying on her back, I wonder who you got that from?
You are really steady with holding your head up so I am sure in the next few weeks you will be sitting up on your own with no problems.
We also reserved your spot for daycare. Hopefully you will not have to go but that is to be determined.
