Happy Monday Friends!
I have realized one good thing about being back to work. Well actually 2 good things. One being I get to finally work on reading some of the books that are piled up on my night stand and two I get to blog more. Always look for the positive right?
Moving right along. How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was good. Friday night we went to my mom’s house for dinner and Mr. Big Trucks mom joined us. We had a great time just hanging out. Mr. Big Truck brought his cross-bow to do some target practice and he had me try it. Lets just say I am not the best shot but I am GREAT at getting arrows stuck in the wood!
#babybigtruck and I wound up staying at my mom’s house because she fell asleep while Mr. Big Truck, my mom, ray and his mom worked on a letter. We lost all track of time and when they were done we realized it was like 8:30pm. #babybigtruck goes down at 7:30. We knew if we tried to bring her home it would spell disaster so Mr. Big Truck and I decided her and I would just set up camp for the night. While everyone was working on the letter #babybigtruck was playing with Ray and Dakota.
Saturday morning Mr. Big Truck came back to my moms to get us and we went home and chilled out for a bit. We had plans to pick up our niece to spend some time with her for her birthday. We went to Target and then to dinner then Mr. Big Truck dropped me and #babybigtruck off at home and then took our niece to Toys R Us to pick out a present. Total fail I just realized we didn’t take any pictures!
Sunday we get up and set out to church. After Mr. Big Truck went to our nephews football game while #babybigtruck and I went to my moms. It was too cold and windy for us to sit outside at the game. We then headed to the mall and we met up with Uncle Bill and Aunt Ali. We were excited. It was the first time that Uncle Bill got to meet #babybigtruck. We roamed around the mall for a bit and cleaned up with Old Navy and Gap.
Just a note Uncle Bill and I have been friends since high school and thankfully his gorgeous wife Aunt Ali is one of my best friends!
Can we just touch on the fact that Halloween is next week. REALLY?!? I just can’t wrap my mind around that.
#babybigtruck is going to be a monkey this year. I found her costume online and instantly fell in love with it but did not buy it because I could not justify spending $40 on a costume that she will wear for a few minutes one day. My mom was a Costco a few weeks ago and found the exact costume for $15! SCORE! Not gonna lie I am kinda excited.
With that hope y’all have a great day!
