Six Months. Half a year. Just like that gone. Not cool batman.
So another month has come and gone and here we are sitting at six months and you are a little person. You are a vocal little person with a mind of her own.
This months stats: 17lbs 12oz, 25.75″ long and 42.5cm head. You are in the 95th percentile for your weight and height and the 75th percentile for your head. The doctor is really pleased with your growth. You got 2 shots and 1 oral vaccine this time around and there were no tears shed I was so proud of you! The doctor said that you can still have your four 8oz bottles a day and I can let you eat as much food as you want. You typically eat real food after your first bottle and your last bottle and sometimes you will have it after your third bottle.
You are still rocking your size 3 diapers and you are wearing some 6 month clothing mainly just shirts, you mainly wear 6-9 month clothing.
We dressed you up as a Monkey for Halloween. I die!
We went to the farm to go on a hayride and go pumpkin picking. We also went apple picking with Grandma and Grandpa.
You are LOVING food. You scream if we do not feed you fast enough. Broccoli, sweet potatoes, turkey sausage, avocado, quinoa, zucchini are some of your favorites!
You are not loving your carseat lately. I think it is because you were tramatized by sitting in it for over 4 hours when we went to RI. Ooops!
You finally got to meet Uncle Bill.
You are eating like a beast. You have your normal 8oz bottle and then we give you a little of whatever we are eating. So far there have been no reactions to anything which is great! You also let us know when you want more of whatever we are giving you.
You LOVE your puppies and follow them around. If someone is holding you and the puppies are around you hang over the arm of the person who is holding you and you stare at the puppies. You also love when the puppies love on you.
You are still sleeping through the night but naps are another story. You do nap you just don’t nap long.
We read our Jesus Calling every night before bed and then we snuggle for a bit. We have been putting you down while you are still awake so you can get yourself soothed and sleeping on your own. You do really well with this.
You took your first real shower with Momma and you didn’t seem to mind it.
You can sit up unassisted!
You are babbling like a fool!
Your giggle kills Daddy and I and we love to make you laugh.
We went to the Aquarium for the first time.
We are starting to give you some formula in your sippy cup to start making that transition. So far you are doing well with it. You really like the Nubb cup.
