That is all I have to get through and then I get to enjoy two weeks with my friends and family without the distraction of work! Excited? Beyond! After I get out of work today I can shut down my work brain and enjoy the holiday season and enjoy our first Christmas with #babybigtruck.
We have a bunch of things planned for the next two weeks. We plan to go to NYC to see the tree and windows as we do every year. This year though we will bundle up #babybigtruck and put her in her Baby Bjorn which she loves and we will hop on a train and mosey our way into New York and just be in the moment. I look forward to going to the city every year and this year is no different! Last year we took our niece in with us and all of Mr. Big Trucks brothers and their wives went in as well. We also went in to see our sister-in-law sing Christmas carols at the tree.
We will be meeting up with friends this coming weekend for what is becoming an annual holiday dinner. I did some digging in this here little blog and lo and behold we went the same weekend last year. We are going back to the same place as we did last year lets just hope that this year we do not get slammed with the snow storm that we did last year. Thankfully there is no snow in the forecast! We will also be celebrating Christmas with Uncle Bill and Aunt Ali on Sunday.
Mr. Big Truck is going on an overnight fishing trip with one of his friends. I am excited for him. He loves him some fishing and this year he did not get to go as much. I know he is also looking forward to it.
Of course there are all the Christmas festivities. Exhausting just thinking about it but we love all the time with family. Christmas Eve we will be at my mom’s house along with Mr. Big Trucks mom. Christmas morning we will celebrate our first Christmas with #babybigtruck. My mom and Ray will come by for a bit and then we will head out to Mr. Big Trucks moms house. The day after Christmas my father and Molly will be coming to our house along with my brother and his family.
I want to get some baking in before Christmas and I still have to wrap all the gifts.
Hope Ya’ll have a wonderful holiday season!
