We are still alive and kicking over here but sadly I can not say everyone is back to 100% yet.
#babybigtruck is still fighting the bronchitis and wheezing along with the ear infection. We are on 2 weeks now and starting to push 3. We went back to the doctor on Monday and they ordered a chest x-ray to see what was going on if anything. I took her on Tuesday for that and on Wednesday I got the results. Thankfully no pneumonia and her heart and lungs look fine! There was one thing that the doctors want to keep an eye on but I am not going to go into too much detail just yet on that because we do not know exactly what is going on. I am taking her back to the doctor today. We are praying it is nothing to be concerned about. On top of that when I went to pick her up from school the other day there was a notice on her room door saying that there was a stomach virus going around and to look out for a fever and or diarrhea. Well not to be gross but diarrhea has hit #babybigtruck as well. Poor little monkey can not catch a break.
We are still doing the nebulizer treatments but now we are down to every 6 hours. Two of her treatments I also have to add an additional treatment of a steroid.
Thankfully most of the time she is really relaxed with her treatments. Most of the time she just lays back and relaxes while she gets it. There have been a few nights where she has screamed but thankfully that is only because she is exhausted. Some nights she actually falls asleep during her treatments.
My little sweet thing.
Mr. Big Truck is starting to feel like poop too. He is feeling run down and his head is stuffy. He started to use a netty-pot yesterday and boy was that a site. I asked him if I could video it and he was not keen on that idea. Party pooper! He has been taking dayquil to help him get through the day at work and between that and Spark he has been getting through. Let’s hope that some rest this weekend will help him feel better. I know he busts his behind at work and that is not helping.
So yeah that is what is going on with us over here. I hope these two start to feel better soon and we can get on with our regularly scheduled programming because this sickness stuff is for the birds.
In other news we had to take our truck in to get some work done so I am rolling in my Moms H2. That thing is a BEAST. I forgot how big it is. It’s been interesting driving it. I would have rather gotten the Ford but beggars can’t be choosers right? I will tell you though I can not wait to get our truck back because the gas, even though it is cheaper than it has been in a while, is ridiculous to fill this thing.
So yeah that is whats going on in our neck of the woods these past few weeks.
