Hello my friends!
How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was great! All kinds of good stuffs happened.
Friday after work I got to meet up with my friend Dani for lunch and some chit-chat! I am super excited for her and what she wants to do with Advo! I know it is just a matter of time before we are celebrating big things for her!
Friday night we packed up #babybigtruck and ourselves and got ready for some quality separation time. What? Yeah buddy! See we got ourselves all packed up and ready to go because Saturday morning we were dropping off #babybigtruck with her Aunt and Uncle for the night! That’s right Mr. Big Truck and I got a night away from #babybigtruck together for some quality adult time.
Saturday we hit the road nice and early. We meet up with Aunt Ali and Uncle Bill at Panera had lunch and then waved goodbye. See we had a wedding to go to Saturday night and Aunt Ali and Uncle Bill had been wanting some quality time with #babybigtruck. It all worked out perfectly. And even better? Siobhan had her baby Saturday morning at 12:06am so after Aunt Ali and Uncle Bill left with #babybigtruck we stopped by the hospital to meet Baby Luna!
So sweet! So tiny! Please excuse the bags under my eyes and lack of makeup.
After we left the hospital we set out for the wedding hotel. We got there checked in and grabbed something to eat. We got back to our room and got pretty and ready for the festivities.
The wedding ceremony was nice of course I spaced and did not take any photos of the bride or groom. #fail
This guy. I love him.
This. This would be me in the bathroom. See I am tall and apparently this bathroom is not for tall people. It’s all good though. Made for interesting trips to the bathroom. Which by the way because of my outfit I had to make sure that I had a potty partner. HAD to. Why? Well because I was wearing a one piece jumpsuit that zipped up my back and buttoned at the back of my neck.
I have to say the wedding was a god night out. It was my first night away from the baby over night and I can honestly say I was fine with it. I did not feel any anxiety or anything like that at all. I knew she was in good hands and because of that I was able to just enjoy myself.
Sunday morning we got up got something for breakfast and headed home. We checked on the girls dropped off our stuff and then ran to BJ’s while we were baby free. It is so much easier to go without her. After that we started to make our way to Uncle Bill and Aunt Alis to go pick up the monkey. She was sleeping when we got there but when she woke up she was happy to see Momma and Daddy. We stopped by Grandma and Grandpas to kill some time before we made our way to Uncle Jim and Aunt Erins for Superbowl and birthday celebration for Grandma then we finally made our way home.
Overall it was a long fun but exhausting weekend. One Mr. Big Truck, #babybigtruck and I all needed!
