We have hit the 11 month mark!
4 short weeks stand between my baby girl and her turning ONE! I can not believe it is right around the corner! Party planning is in full swing.
As of this morning weighing you on our scale with Daddy you were 23lbs. At your last well visit at 10 months you were 24lbs 13 oz. As of Easter Sunday when we measured you at Grandmas for the wall you were 29 and a quarter inches.
You are wearing 18 to 24 and 24 month clothing. I even have some 2T for you.
You are still in size 5 diapers.
You are on part milk part formula and we have phased out the bottles and you don’t seem to mind it at all one bit. You are eating more and more food daily. You also are drinking your milk/formula with your food.
You have become a master at feeding yourself unless it is something like yogurt or soup then you still want us to feed you. You have started taking the spoon or fork from me and you will get whatever is on it in your mouth! SUCCESS!
You went to the dentist for the first time and you have 7 teeth in and 4 molars coming in. You cut your 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th teeth all this month alone!
You have learned how to clap and stand on your own and you are rather proud of yourself when you do it and we praise you for it.
You have an infectious laugh, a gorgeous smile, and big beautiful blue eyes that light up anyone’s day. Seriously we can not go anywhere without someone commenting on how gorgeous, or how pretty, or how cute, or how sweet you are. We love it.
You love being outside.
You still love school and get excited when I drop you off in the morning, when I pick you up at night you cry and I am not sure if it is because you are happy to see me or sad to leave. I keep telling myself that you are happy to see me.
You are sleeping from 7:30/8:00pm until 5:30am on school days and 6/6:30am on weekends although lately you have been fighting going to bed lately. Hopefully that stops soon. You also have been in this kick where you wake up about 2:30/3am. Typically I will come in and put the binky back in your mouth and you are good to go. Sometimes I will rock you back to sleep to. I am never up more than 15 minutes when you get up though.
You love to FaceTime with Grandma and Grandpa.
Bath time is your jam.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse can and does stop you dead in your tracks.
You make a bee line for the hallway when I am changing you in your room, with or without a diaper or clothes and you think it is pretty hilarious.
You love “sneaking” up on Daddy in the mornings.
You have started to “hide” your food in your chair and smuggle some to the dogs. You think you are pretty slick about it too.
You are getting brave and are taking steps without any support. You will be walking consistently anytime now.
You are starting to say words. Mama, Dada, baba, nana are your three constants right now.
You have mastered getting up from your back to a sitting position and going from a sitting position to standing.
We went to visit Grandpa and Grandma in FL.
You will throw a “tantrum” when you do not get what you want. Yesterday in fact you got yourself a fat lip because of it.
You went on the swing at the playground for the first time and loved it. You have also started at The Little Gym and love it.
We celebrated your first Easter. It took you a two meetings with the Easter Bunny to get a photo of you not losing your mind.
You think it is fun to brush your teeth by yourself and when Mama tries to help you are not to happy about it.
You have started this lip smacking when you are eating and it’s so cute!
Here we are closing in on your first year of life and I am in complete and utter shock at just how fast time is going. I need to kick party planning into high gear and get everything together.
Baby girl we love you more and more everyday. We pray that God would continue to lead us and mold us into the parents that you need and He wants us to be. We love you more than you will ever know!
