Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone has had some time to recoup from the holiday weekend and get back into the flow of life.
I had a few minutes to edit some pictures from our weekend and can now finally do a little recap.
Our holiday weekend started on Good Friday. All three of us were home and we enjoyed some quality family time together. We went out for breakfast to one of our favorite places, Turning Point, from there we went to my moms. Mom, #babybigtruck and I set out for the farm to see our friends horse for a bit. #babybigtruck had a blast petting him and of course all the pictures from that are on my moms camera and not mine. #fail
After the farm we went back to moms and had lunch and that is where things got interesting. See we started talking about what we were going to do for a gift for #babybigtruck. Mr. Big Truck and I said it would be awesome if we got her a swing set this way she would have it for her whole life and get a lot of use out of it. Well that lead us into doing some research, which lead us to going to Mr. Fence, which lead us to buying a freaking swing set. We were told we should even have it installed before her party which is great because there will be a ton of kids there so now they will have something to play on.
After that debacle we dropped Mom and Ray off at their house and set off to church for Good Friday service. After church we went home and relaxed for the rest of the day.
Saturday morning rolled around and we set off for The Little Gym. Mr. Big Truck even came with us which was fun because he was able to play and take a TON of photos for us! #babybigtruck went to her first class the week before and had a blast! I am super excited to see her progress and get her gym on.
She had a blast climbing on things, flipping on the bar, crawling on te moon bounce, playing with balls, and walking and running with help from Mr. Big Truck and myself.
After the gym we went to the mall for a bit and stocked up on some summer clothes for all three of us. #babybigtruck cleaned up at The Children’s Place and Old Navy. We stopped for lunch at Panera and then went to my moms again to celebrate Easter with my niece and nephew.
We went to dinner and called it a night.
Sunday morning we got up got dressed and went to church. It was a great service remembering what Christ did for us. After church we went back home to get ready for the day. Mr. Big Truck made some veggies and mashed sweet potatoes to bring to his moms with us and while he was doing that I was getting us all ready for the upcoming week. I got #babybigtruck back in her Easter dress we took some photos of her going through her basket then loaded up and went to his moms for dinner.
Overall we had a great holiday weekend filled with family and church. To me that is one of the best ways to one celebrate a holiday and two enjoy a weekend!
