Happy Monday night friends!
How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was good. Busy as usual but good!
Friday night was pretty quiet in these parts. Mr. Big Truck, #babybigtruck and I all hung out at home.
Saturday morning we got up had breakfast as usual and then I had to take #babybigtruck for some blood work. I am anxious to find out the results to this blood test. Basically it will be the determining factor on if #babybigtruck will have to go on antibiotics once a week for the rest of the winter. Praying that she doesn’t have to! After we got back we hung out at home for a bit before lunch time and nap time. Once lunch time hit I slipped out the back while Mr. Big Truck gave #babybigtruck her lunch so I could go meet up with a friends for lunch. After I got back and after #babybigtruck woke up from her nap we packed up and headed to Sherman Williams to pick out paint colors for our bedroom. That was a long time coming. After we settled on the paint we went to the mall to let #babybigtruck burn off some energy before we went home for the evening. There are some rides at the mall and #babybigtruck went to play in them and once we put in the .75c for her to ride them and they turned on she was not having it. She jumped off the rides pretty quickly. Girlfriend also scored a new pair of kicks. Light up kicks to boot! She’s so fancy.
In case you were wondering what the bedroom looks like before Mr. Big Truck paints.
Sunday morning we got up and went to church as we always do. We had some extra time before we had to leave for church so I was messing on the computer while Mr. Big Truck and #babybigtruck were taking selfies in the living room.
Saturday afternoon I got word that someone wanted to show the house on Sunday so after church we ran home picked up Rylie and then went to camp out at my moms. We were planning to have dinner at her house anyway and celebrate my mother-in-laws upcoming birthday so it worked out well.
While we were at my mom’s house my step father decided to take his drone out and play with it and #babybigtruck was loving it. That is until she stuck her finger in the prop, got pissed at it for “biting” her and tried to kick it and then the hysterics started. Once she calmed down I wanted to get her comfortable with it again and had her help me fly it and every time it needed to be moved I asked her to go get it and put it in the middle of the room. By the end of the night all was well in the world again and she thought the drone was the bees knees.
Today we were off from work. #babybigtruck still went to school and we took some time to just be together alone. We went to breakfast at Amy’s somewhere we have not been in a hot minute. After breakfast we ran some errands including grocery shopping which I HATE with a passion. Like no joke I really can not stand grocery shopping. We also went to Home Depot so Mr. Big Truck could get some other supplies before he started on the painting project. Since Mr. Big Truck painted the ceiling today we can not sleep in our room. Rumor has it we will probably not be able to sleep in our room for the next few nights so we set up the air mattress in the living room. Good times.
I won’t lie I am looking forward to seeing the room when it is done. I mean Mr. Big Truck is the man when it comes to paining. Home boy knows his stuff and does an awesome job when it comes to this stuff. Husband jackpot let me tell you!
And just because I happened to see this photo while I was on Facebook I thought I would share it.
I saw this and laughed and immediately thought of Rylie because she would do something like this.
Happy Monday evening friends!
