Friday Rambles…

So I know my post title is Friday Rambles but just being transparent it is Thursday night and I am writing this up as Jenn and I sit at the table chatting while we have some tea and her husband is playing some video game while having a rather “interesting” conversation with someone.

So this past week has been a whole lot of fun and chaos. I have enjoyed the time I spent with Jenn and her kiddos and hubby. #babybigtruck and her kids got along so well and played so nicely together. I am gonna be sad to leave in the morning and I know #babybigtruck is going to be sad as well. All the more reason to plan another week together sometime down the line. I won’t lie I am spent from the week with three kids ages 1, 2, and 3. Kudos to Jenn for being an awesome stay at him mama to her two.

I have a 6 hour car ride home which will probably turn into more of a 7 or 8 hour driveĀ ahead of me tomorrow with #babybigtruck. It is supposed to rain the entire trip home which is why I think it may take more like 7 or 8 hours. I hope and pray that #babybigtruck is as good as she was on the way up.

I am looking forward to seeing Michael this weekend. I would have liked to have been able to see him tomorrow night but he has been working the 4pm to midnight shift lately and apparently he is supposed to be working that shift until further notice so we won’t see him till Saturday morning. Boo. I know I miss him and I know #babybigtruck is missin her Dada.

I signed up for Club W tonight thanks to Jenn. She introduced me to it and we opened two bottles that she got recently and they were both delicious so I said why not! I ordered the two we opened this week and then two other random bottles I am looking forward to trying the two new bottles.

I really need to get on the sleep training train with #babybigtruck. For the longest time we were doing so so well with her going to bed and then we put her in the toddler bed and then into the full size bed and now putting her to bed is a to do. Mama is tired of having to lay with her for anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes at night. Operation re-sleep train #babybigtruck is about to go down. I need to get her back to the nights of prayers, hugs, kisses and laying her in her bed and walking out. First step is Mike putting the guts of the door knob back into her door knob.

With that said my eye balls hurt and my eye lids are getting heavier and heavier so I shall sign off. Hope y’all have a good weekend!

  Hugs, Nikki

Thanks! It wasn’t as smooth as the drive up but it was not terrible either thankfully!
