Happy Friday Friends!
A little randomness for the day.
The Olympics start tonight. I am super pumped! Gymnastics competition starts Sunday! Equestrian starts tomorrow as does Beach Volleyball! Bring it on! Lets Go USA!
Our traverse is in the shop. Ugh. Monday night -at least I think it was Monday night- Mike was coming home from work at midnight and his truck overheated on the turnpike. Thankfully it happened right before he got to the exit for the rest stop and was able to pull off and stop safely. Anyway, Tuesday he went and got my moms Ford to use for the rest of the week. We found out yesterday that the radiator needs to be replaced as do the tie rods and some other maintenance. Good times. Thankfully we took out an extended warranty on it which is turning out to be one of the best things we have done with that truck.
We have not gone food shopping in like 2 weeks. Its been a little hectic in these parts. Our shopping bill is not gonna be nice this weekend.
Sunday is Disney Planning Sunday! I am super excited! I think we are gonna get all the kids matching shirts! I also wanna get my kids shirts that say “Our 1st Trip to Disney”
Mom is still out in Arizona. I’m ready for her to come home. She is more than ready to come home however there is no coming home for her anytime soon. I am trying to swing it and go out there the week I am off this month but so far it is not looking like it is gonna happen. Sad Panda. Mind you she went out there July 17th after finding out that her mom fell and broke her back and her mom is STILL in the hospital. Yeah not good.
Saturday night I am going to the movies with some friends. Yay for Moms Night Out!
I am looking forward to spending more than 10 minutes with Mike at home tonight. This week has been a doozy for him work wise. He has been working 6am to 2pm at one job and then most days going back to his other job and working 4pm to midnight. One day this week he worked 6am to 2pm then worked 7pm to 3am and then worked 6am to 2pm and 4pm to midnight. I didn’t see him at all. Crazy work schedule. But unfortunately that is how it is with his job it’s either all or nothing. I’m so thankful that he is so willing to sacrifice for our family and do what needs to be done. #husbandjackpot
I think that’s all I got for now. Hope y’all have a great weekend!
