Happy Monday Friends!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Ours was short as per the usual but it was fun.
Saturday started off with some blood work for me. I got to Quest right as they were opening and I had about 4 or 5 people ahead of me which was fine because I got to read some of my new book.
I had to get my prenatal blood work done and seriously they took something like 9 vials of blood! CRAZY! Typically my left arm is the good arm to take blood from but I guess after having my panorama blood test drawn from my left arm the Wednesday before my vein never fully recouped and when they stuck me nothing came out on Saturday. Fail! They then had to stick my right arm and they had to use a butterfly needle because my right arm veins are terrible. After my blood work Mike and #babybigtruck met me at the diner for breakfast.
We went back to the house after we were done eating so Mike could deal with the baby possum he caught which was eating his tomatoes. No worries he took it and released it far away from our house back into the wild.
Once he got home I snuck out for some much-needed Mama Time. I went to get a much-needed and welcomed pedicure! About half way through it #babybigtruck2 decided it was time for mama to eat something thankfully I always have a QuestBar on me!
After I was done I had to run to the party store for my sister-in-law to pick up some more loot bags for my nieces birthday party that afternoon. When I got home I got to catch a quick 30 minute cat nap then showered and got ready to go to the party. I just realized we were there from 3:30 till 9:30pm and I did not snap one picture. I would call it a fail but in hindsight I think it is a success as I was unplugged and in the moment the entire time! I really need to start carrying my point and shoot with me more though!
Sunday we got up and went to church and after church we went up to my dads house. It was probably the last time we will ever get up there as they have sold the lake house. Sad panda. I am going to miss lazy lake days of hanging out with the family. It’s for the best though. It really is time that Dad and Molly only have one house and enjoy their life. I’m happy for them!
Dad gifted Mike and I with his boat as he was not going to take it to FL with them. So Mike helped dad take it out of the lake and pack it up and get it ready for us to take home with us. While they were doing that #babybigtruck and I went to Buy Buy Baby for me to pick up some smaller maternity clothes as most of my regular clothes don’t fit me anymore and my maternity clothes from my last pregnancy are too big on me. #pregoproblems.
I did get to make good use of this space though!
Overall it was a great weekend. We will definitely miss being able to pick up and go to the lake and spend time with Dad and Molly but we will now just have to go for FL 2 times if not more a year! Always look on the bright side right??
