Well it’s official. As of today I am now 28 weeks pregnant and officially in the 3rd trimester. Seriously fastest pregnancy ever thanks to not knowing the first half of it! Less than 90 days till we meet #babybugtruck2 which is mind-blown because we still have quite a bit that needs to get done? Like what? Like the entire nursery! Thankfully that mostly in the hands of Michael at this point until the room is painted and the furniture is delivered and assembled then I will take over and put the finishing touches on it.
So I was checking out the apps I have and seeing just how big #babybigtruck2 is and what she is being compared to and it really made me laugh. Let’s explore shall we?
The first app I checked was Ovia. It’s a new app to me but I love all the comparisons they give. In a way I wish I knew I was pregnant from the start to get all the comparisons from the early weeks. I also would have used this app to its full potential had I known from the start.
Couronne Bread. Yeah no clue what that is but hard to even compare a baby to that. I mean there is no middle to this thing.
A rollerblade. I can see this. I mean at least there is a full object to compare to.
Coconut. Pretty standard thing to measure the size of a baby to.
Echidna. This thing reminds me of a porcupine in a way. Cute but odd for sure.
The next app is the traditional What to Expect app.
Apparently #babybigtruck2 is the size of a head of cauliflower. Another pretty standard thing to compare a baby to.
Next there is the BabyCenter app.
According to BabyCenter she is the size of an eggplant. Ironically enough we had stuffed eggplant for dinner last night.
And finally I get emails from Pregnant Chicken. I found this site -no app- with my first pregnancy and fell in love with it. I get a weekly email from them and it really makes me laugh each time I open it.
This was my favorite from the week! I mean a chihuahua! Who doesn’t love a chihuahua! I can totally see the comparison with this too. Plus how cute is the photo with the speech blurb. I die.
Now if you will excuse me, my chihuahua and I are gonna go get some Taco Bell. Cheap cheesy pun but I had to!
