Weekend Recap

Happy Monday Friends!

This weekend felt like it went by super fast and I had a 3 day weekend. Go figure.

Lets rewind shall we? Friday I kicked off the day by dropping #babybigtruck off at school and then set out for my 28 week OB appointment. After hearing the baby and hearing from my doctor that everything is looking and sounds good I was free to schedule my next visit and go about my day. From the doctor’s office I set out for Panera to meet up with Ali for lunch and then we went to the mall to walk around and do some damage at Old Navy as per the norm for us. After Ali and I went our separate ways I stopped by my moms for a bit and then I remembered that I had to swing by the church to get some stuff together for AWANA which is starting THIS Thursday! Mike picked up #babybigtruck from school and got to spend some Daddy Daughter time together which is always great for them. While I was doing what I needed to do I got this gem.

Once I got home I was going through the Old Navy bag and was going to show Mike the stuff I picked up for #babybigtruck, him, and myself and to my surprise I realized that Ali and I managed to switch bags and I accidentally took her bag home and she took mine. FAIL! I texted her and we made a date to meet up Sunday for lunch and to exchange our bags.

Saturday I was planning to be home all day with #babybigtruck as I was babysitting our nieces. It was me a 1-year-old, a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old up to our own devices until Mike got home from work. The girls were great all day. They played nicely all day which was great.

Saturday night after I put #babybigtruck to bed I started some new reading material for the upcoming AWANA year.

I also started a new devotional.

I have yet to decide if I am gonna do it as a daily or weekly devotional. I may also decide to do it on random days and do something else on other days. We shall see what happens.

Sunday we got up and got ready for church. I had to be there early to finish setting up the AWANA table. Daniela got the table-cloth and balloons and I had to make sure that all the clipboards with the registration forms were ready.

After church we set out for the mall to meet up with Bill and Ali. We went to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch and then we all roamed around the mall for a bit. We went back to Old Navy I had Mike try on the jeans I got him and we exchanged the jeans for a different style and I returned some stuff I got for me. We had to get some of our jewelry inspected and cleaned then we hit up Starbucks and the carousel and called it a day.

Someone thought that my empty cup was her own special drink. Silly toddler.

Now here it is Sunday night and Mike is getting ready to head to work and I am getting ready to go to bed and start the crazy week that is ahead of me.

  Hugs, Nikki

Sounds like a busy fun weekend. I can always do some damage at Old Navy :/ I need a new devotional so I’m going to look into that one. I usually just read the ones off of my bible app but it’s nice to actually have it in print. Beautifully Candid

Yeah I usually use the ones on the app, I also get a few different ones emailed to me but I really enjoy having a print one too. This one is meant to be a once a week one but obviously you can do it in any time period you would like. I have only done the first one and I was going to do one today but I have bible study tonight starting so I MAY do one tomorrow. We shall see! Definitely look into it though!
