Happy Monday Friends!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I know we did. Granted we had a busy weekend but such is life right?
Where to start? Well lets back track to Friday shall we? Friday morning I had a OB appointment and was told that #babybigtruck2 is growing beautifully and her heartbeat was strong at 156 beats per minute. I also got my paperwork for my c-section. We have a date people it’s getting real! Now lets see if we make it to baby day.
After my appointment I went to church to help my friend Kim finish getting the Awana calendar up on the church website then we went to lunch together. We had a great time talking and just enjoying each others company. After lunch I went home and took a much-needed nap.
Friday night #babybigtruck and I were up to our own devices as Mike was taking care of some side work he needed to do. After I put her to bed I packed up and got ready for a busy Saturday.
Saturday morning we were up early and getting ready for our maternity shoot which went well. I can not wait for the sneak peaks and the final gallery! Julie said she hopes to have a sneak peek for me today or tomorrow and our gallery in a week and a half to two weeks. There is a couple of shots I have in mind that I am hoping came out great so I can get them printed and put in the nursery.
Neither Mike nor I were really able to snap too many photos from the shoot but Mike did manage to get this one…
After our shoot we met up with some friends at Happy Day Farms. We went last year however only 1 of the dads were able to make it where this year all the dads were there which was nice. The kids had a blast as usual running around and causing a ruckus which is what matters!
Clearly there was fun had by all! Mike also got some practice at carrying 2 kids at once.
Sunday I was supposed to go to the Baby, Toddler, & Family Expo but I was so exhausted from the all the activity the day before that I wound up having to skip it. #babybigtruck and I went to church in the morning and then we went to my moms for a bit so Mike could get some sleep since he worked midnight to 8am. Once we got to moms #babybigtruck helped Gradma and Grandpa take a branch down from a tree while I say with my overly swollen feet up for a bit. After they were done outside my mom, #babybigtruck and I ran to make a return at Babies R Us and then did some grocery shopping. By the time we got home I put together some sauce and chicken parm while Mike caught up on football and #babybigtruck caught up on her reading.
She clearly could careless about football!
Sunday night Mike and I enjoyed some quite time together after #babybigtruck went to bed and were able to watch some Designated Survivor along with indulging in some double s’more brownies a la mode. So good!
Here it is now Monday and I am gonna get dinner in the crock pot and then I’m off to take #babybigtruck to school for the day then I think I am gonna go for a nice walk along the water since the weather is gorgeous out and then it is time for a much-needed massage and facial.
