1st Pregnancy VS. 2nd Pregnancy

I decided to keep notes on how the pregnancy with #babybigtruck2 was been different than my pregnancy with #babybigtruck. Lets compare.

I did not even know I was pregnant with #babybigtruck2 until I was 21 weeks along. And I only found out because I went to my yearly check up and my doctor figured it out!

I was much smaller in general with #babybigtruck2 than I was with #babybigtruck. I attribute that to the fact that I was chasing a 2 year old around during my pregnancy with #babybigtruck2

Funny that I was much smaller this time around because I was constantly munchie! Give me all the food! I was forever shoving food in my mouth too!

Heartburn, NOT fun! Many a night I would find myself awake with heartburn. I went through a couple containers of Tums. good times.

There was no guessing when I was going to have #babybigtruck2 as I had a scheduled c-section. Although I did not make it to the original date of November 25th and wound up delivering on October 28th.

I was considered high risk with #babybigtruck2 because of my delivery with #babybigtruck.

I was much more tired this time around than I was with #babybigtruck. Again I attribute that to having a 2 year old to chase around as well. I should really say I was exhausted this time around.

#babybigtruck2 was a mover and a shaker. Girlfriend did not stop moving from 21 weeks on and it was all day everyday!

When I saw something food wise that sounded good I needed it right then and there.

I started getting swollen feet and ankels at 25 weeks this time where with #babybigtruck I didn’t swell until after she was born! I’m talking swollen to the point where I had no ankles and none of my shoes fit me by the time #babybigtruck2 was born. Thank you preeclampsia.

I worked out more this pregnancy than I did my first. Not really sure how or why that worked out that way either.

Braxton Hicks contractions. I did not have them with #babybigtruck so yeah that was a whole new world.

I got into a car accident at 31 weeks and had to spend 5 hours in the hospital being observed. Not fun.

We had the nursery for #babybigtruck done and ready earlier than we did for #babybigtruck2. I think part of it was because with #babybigtruck we knew from about the time I was 8 weeks pregnant vs 21 weeks. I also think part of the reason it took so long to get it done for #babybigtruck2 was because I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do. Once I found bedding I liked the nursery came together nicely and rather quickly but because I delivered early it was not totally done.

Itching. I do not remember being itchy at all with #babybigtruck. By about 34 weeks with #babybigtruck2 the itching was crazy.

Restless Leg Syndrome. Again something I do not remember having at all with #babybigtruck but it showed up in full force with #babybigtruck2.

Crazy how every pregnancy is so different.

The last photo I took during my pregnancy with #babybigtruck2 which just so happened to be the day I ending up having her.

I still have restless leg syndrome from my pregnancy. Ugh. I can’t believe how different and how alike your pregnancies were.

Every now and then I will get a bout with it. I find now I get it when I am nursing and am SUPER tired.
